Afraha High School is situated in Nakuru County, Nakuru Municipality on Mudavadi Road approximately 1 km form GPO Nakuru.  It is on Southern side of town.  It boarders Langalanga Secondary to the west, Kenyatta primary to the East and Kariba Road Primary school to the south.  The GPS location of the school is 0.17’41’12’ south, 36’04’12’58 East and 1830 meters above sea level.  It’s accessible by tarmac road connected to Kenya Uganda Highway.
